Patient Participation Group

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a great way to have your say and represent patients within Bradford-on-Avon and Melksham Health Partnership.

The PPG are a group of patients who meet up every three months. They get together to discuss and provide feedback on services they receive from us. The group of patients also help us to spread the word about the changes coming to the surgery and make sure patients are involved in important decisions.

Your local surgery needs you!

We are continually seeking new members to join our PPG, particularly representatives from the under-18 age group, parents with young children and patients with sensory or physical impairments.

We have an established PPG mailing list managed by the Committee where you can receive regular updates from the Practice, minutes of the PPG meetings and participate in surveys. You can also contact the PPG Committee direct to share your thoughts, suggestions and feedback.

If you can’t make face-to-face meetings, are caring for someone and unable to leave them, or are working, you can still be kept informed, give your views and participate.

To join the PPG/mailing list, please register online here.

Alternatively, please ask at reception for further details or telephone 01225 866611.

If you wish to contact the PPG Committee direct, the secretary's email address is:

The PPG is a group of volunteer patients who work with the Practice to decide ways of making a positive contribution to the services and facilities offered by Bradford on Avon & Melksham Health Partnership.

Who is involved?

The PPG is open to every patient registered with the Practice. All communities, groups, genders, ages, ethnicities, and disabilities representing the patient list are encouraged to join.

The PPG currently consists of a Committee of about 9 members who meet regularly every 3 months with Practice staff. The Committee act as your representatives ensuring the patient voice is heard to help the Surgery work as well as it can for patients, doctors and practice staff.
