Home vists
If you or someone in your family is unable to come to the surgery because of illness, then you may be able to arrange a home visit.
Home visits mean that the clinician will see far fewer patients during the day so we ask that you only request a home visit when medically essential. Home visits can take up to six times longer than an in-person surgery visit, so it helps the GP to see more patients if you can try to come to the surgery.
Where possible, please use eConsult or telephone to request a visit before 10:30 am.

You will be phoned back by a clinician to advise you and give an estimated time of your visit. You may be asked to attend the Surgery or receive telephone advice for your condition. If a visit is deemed necessary, one will be arranged and a medical professional will attend.
The Doctor is not obliged to visit you at home, unless you are unable to travel due to your condition.
Please, where possible attend the Surgery so that full examinations are possible.
